Jasmine Faison

Club Director

Education                                                                          

  • Attended Texas A&M San Antonio majoring in Kinesiology & a minor in Education.

  • Started her higher education career at Laredo Community College

  • 2006 graduate from Thomas Edison High School in San Antonio, TX.

Playing Experience   (Setter/OPP)                                                         

  • Jasmine lettered in Volleyball, Basketball & Track at Thomas Edison High School

  • After graduating from High School in 2006 she continued her athletic career as a varsity NJCAA volleyball player at Laredo Community College

  • Jasmine still competes in high-leveled adult volleyball tournaments & leagues.

Coaching Experience                                                                             

  • Jasmine is entering her 16th year of coaching club volleyball

  • This will be Jasmine's 6th year as a head coach with TCVA

Throughout her coaching career, she has coached all age groups. Jasmine has successfully coached her teams to The National Junior Olympics 7 times! Coach Jasmine is committed to creating well-rounded players on the court, as well as the community and classroom. She strives to enhance the volleyball talents of all players while developing their leadership skills, self-discipline, and work ethic.

Daniel P. Scott

Board President & 12 Black Head Coach

Education

  • Dan proudly earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agricultural Business Economics at Southern Illinois University.

  • Dan graduated from El Paso High School in El Paso, IL

Playing Experience ( MB )

  • Dan was a prominent figure for The Southern Illinois University Men’s Club Volleyball Team.

  • Dan was an experienced Middle Blocker

Coaching Experience

  • Dan has been coaching club volleyball for over 20 years with TCVA

  • Dan has worked with all age groups

  • Dan has been the TCVA club director for 11 years

Dan’s goal is always to better his athletes and grow them in every way shape and form. He pushes them beyond limits and sees that they excel at every level. He is known by his peers as someone to be learned from & respected.

Abbey Wells

14 White Head Coach

Education

  • Abbey is a graduate of Bryan P. Steele High School in Cibolo, TX

  • Abbey graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and Performance Psychology

Playing Experience ( SETTER/DS )

  • Abbey played club volleyball for TCVA for 8 years

  • She lettered as a Varsity Volleyball Player for her entire 4 years at Steele High School

  • Abbey continued her volleyball career as a Varsity NCAA Division II Volleyball Player at Texas A&M University – Kingsville

Coaching Experience

  • Abbey has been coaching for 8 years

  • She has been a TCVA Coach / Practice Program Coach for 6 years

 

Abbey’s energetic and fun-loving attitude is an essential part of her coaching style. She goes above and beyond to train her athletes up to be the best they can be. Abbey is also an animal lover! She has 4 cats and 2 dogs. While she was in school and coaching club volleyball, she also worked at an animal shelter!

Nancy Faison

17 Green & 14 Black Head Coach

Education

  • Coach Faison graduated from the University of Incarnate Word with a Bachelors in Physical Education and Minor in Secondary Art

Playing Experience

  • Nancy played basketball and volleyball all four years of college and softball for one year

 Coaching Experience

  • Nancy has coached UIL volleyball for 36 years now and will be entering her 17th club season

  • Coach Faison has led most of her teams to nationals.

Coach Faison strives to develop athletes to the absolute best of their abilities. She builds disciplined leaders on and off the court. Fun fact, she is the mother of our very own club president, Jasmine Faison.

Clovershea McGill

11 Green Head Coach

Education

  • Clover graduated from Thomas Edison High School

  • Clover graduated from Texas A&M International University where she double majored in Science and Studio Art.

Playing Experience (Right Side)

  • Clover was a varsity volleyball athlete at Edison High School

  • She played for Texas A&M International University all four years of college

Coaching Experience

  • Coach Clover has been coaching volleyball for 14 years!

  • She is currently the Head Volleyball Coach at Karen Wagner High School

Coach Clover has a strong passion and love for the game of volleyball. She is very excited for a great season!

Patrick Paller (Pat)

17 Green & 14 Black Assistant Coach

External Experience

  • Pat served over 21 years in the United States Air Force.

Playing Experience (OH /MB/DS/S)

  • Pat actively plays in USAV Texas Senior Volleyball circuit as a Libero/DS/setter

  • He also participates in USAV Men’s Open Nationals Volleyball as a Libero/DS

  • Pat was the Air Force Hawaii Volleyball outside hitter and setter 

  • He is a member of All US Air Force Volleyball Team as outside hitter/DS

  • He is also a member of Randolph Ramblers Volleyball AA outside hitter/setter

  • Pat is a member of multiple men’s volleyball clubs in Hawaii

  • He Played a year at Ka’u High School, Hi as a middle blocker

Coaching Experience

  • This will be Pat's 9th Season with TCVA

  • Pat was the Head coach at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Middle School for 11 years

  • Pat coached for 2 years at St Mary’s Hall as the boys JV Head coach and Assitant Varsity Head coach  

  • Pat was the Assistant Head coach for the  Air Force Hawaii Men’s Volleyball Team 

  • Pat was the Head coach of the  Air Force Hawaii Women’s Varsity

 

Coach Pat is well respected for his knowledge and dedication to the game and his athletes. He constantly strives to grow and push athletes past average expectations.
