The TCVA Strength and Conditioning Program is designed to provide athletes of any age with higher level physical training and education that is focused on nutrition, prehab, recovery, and movement development. Everybody, including players, parents, friends, and members of other clubs can participate in our training! Our program offers personalized training for the group and the individual, with focuses on the following:
Speed and agility
General strength and conditioning

Why We Love Coach Abbey!
She is from Cibolo, Texas, Has over 6 years of coaching experience from TCVA and CC-Force, and recently graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Abbey started playing volleyball with BVYA when she was 8 years old. She joined TCVA when she was 11 and she played with TCVA all the way through her 18s season. In high school Abbey was a four year starter on the varsity team. She was recruited to play volleyball and attended college at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and during her time there she majored in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science and a minor in performance psychology. While going to school she coached two years at Corpus Christi Force Volleyball. During her time at CC Force she was responsible for coaching multiple national teams as well as running skills clinics and private lessons. When she’s been home during the summers, Coach Abbey has designed and run strength/conditioning and speed/agility training programs. Her passion is working with young athletes to help them achieve their goals and educating them on how to properly train and take care of their bodies for optimal performance. Volleyball has always been one of Abbey’s passions and her goal is to help young players enjoy the sport like she did and set them up for success in their athletic lives.
Why We Love Coach Mando!
He was proudly born and raised in Kingsville, Tx (just south of Corpus Christi)! He has been a personal trainer for 3 years and was a lead tumbling coach at his family’s business, All American Cheer Company (AACC), for the past four years. He recently graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and was awarded a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy/Biology. Mando has been active all his life, and played soccer throughout his youth. In high school he made the varsity team and was a varsity wing for three years. At AACC, he led strength and conditioning for the intermediate and advanced students, working with age groups ranging from four years old to high school age. He loves human movement and has made it his mission to coach health, wellness, and proper training to the next generation of athletes. Mando strongly believes that athletic development encompasses all of human development and prioritizes nutrition, emotional and mental well-being, and happiness along with strength, conditioning, and body care. He wants to give the next generation tools of success that will be used on and off the court for the rest of their lives.
